TypeSpark is a fast, private, open-source AI writing, grammar, and tone assistant for your browser — powered directly by your own Google Gemini API key.

Live Grammar & Spelling Check: Underlines mistakes in any text field or rich-text editor across the web with one-click fixes.
Custom Rewrite Preset Pills: Select any text to pop up an inline toolbar (Improve, Fix & Polish, Concise, Formal, Casual, or create your own custom prompts in Settings).
Interactive Preview Tooltip: Preview AI rewrites before replacing your text (Enter to accept, Esc to discard) while preserving native browser undo (Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z).
Full Generation Controls: Fine-tune Temperature, Top-P, System Instructions, Minimum Text Length Threshold, and Fast Zero-Shot Mode (gemini-3.1-flash-lite, gemini-2.5-flash, gemini-2.0-flash, or custom models).
Keyboard-First Workflow: Press Alt+Shift+G on selected text to open and navigate rewrite pills entirely from the keyboard.
100% Private (BYOK): Zero telemetry, zero analytics, and no middleman servers. Text is sent directly from your browser to Google's Gemini API using your key.
