- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13269652, 7 years agoThis extension is quite high quality in many ways. But the fact that the manually selected area cannot be increased if necessary after the preview is a major shortcoming. Wereas this can be done easily in AdGuard and AdBlock.
If this problem is solved, it will be great.

I didn't know I could expand the area I chose to block by clicking on the list of cosmetic filters, after the preview; Thank you very much for your explanation below.
I think many users like me are not aware of the feature you described below even if they have been using your extension for a long time.
Therefore, in the dialog box that opens in interactive element picker mode, it would be easier and more convenient if there was a scroll bar instead of a "Cosmetic filter list" to expand the area to be blocked.
In the meantime, I think it would be more useful if the location of the dialog box opened in interactive mode could be changed by drag-and-drop.

posted 7 years agoYou can increase the selection by merely selecting a broader filter entry in the suggested filter list, as mentioned in the documentation (https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/Element-picker):
> If possible, one or more network filters will be suggested, as well as a list of cosmetic filters. The top most cosmetic filter is the most specific which could be derived from the element you clicked. The bottom-most is the broadest, the least specific. Pick the one which matches best what you wish to accomplish
