Privacy Policy — BABASITARAM PRO
Last updated: 09/09/2026
BABASITARAM PRO does not operate any backend server, and the developer
does not collect, receive, or have access to any of your data.
WHAT IS STORED, AND WHERE
All settings, lists, statistics, and preferences you configure —
including your whitelist, fireproof sites, vault sites, PIN, custom
block rules, time limits, and activity logs — are stored locally on
your device using the browser's built-in storage APIs
(chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device unless you
explicitly export it yourself (Settings → Export Backup), and it is
never transmitted to the developer.
BROWSER SYNC (OPTIONAL)
If you enable the extension's "Cloud Sync" option, a small subset of
your settings is stored using chrome.storage.sync / your browser
account's built-in sync service (e.g. Firefox Sync), which is operated
by your browser vendor (Mozilla), not by us. This only runs if you turn
it on, and it only syncs between your own signed-in devices.
NETWORK REQUESTS THIS EXTENSION MAKES
1. Filter list updates: the extension periodically downloads publicly
published ad/tracker block-lists (EasyList, EasyPrivacy, and
uBlock Origin's Annoyances list) directly from their official
hosts. These are plain list downloads — no information about you or
your browsing is sent as part of these requests.
2. Breach Alert (optional, user-initiated): if you use the "Breach
Alert" feature, the email address you type is sent directly from
your browser to haveibeenpwned.com's public API to check it against
known breaches. This only happens when you press "Check," and only
the email address you enter is sent — nothing else, and never to us.
3. DNS-over-HTTPS (optional): if you enable a DoH provider in Settings,
your browser's own DNS resolution is routed through the provider you
choose (e.g. Cloudflare, NextDNS) using your browser's native DoH
support. This is a browser setting the extension helps you configure
— we do not proxy or see this traffic.
PERMISSIONS
- storage: to save your settings/lists locally.
- tabs: to know the current tab's URL for per-site features (block
counts, site lock, time limits) and to open the standalone Restore
Backup page.
- cookies, browsingData, history: used only for the Cookie Cleaner,
Emergency Burn, and Fireproof features, which run entirely locally
and only act on data already in your own browser.
- declarativeNetRequest: to block ads/trackers at the network layer,
using rules bundled with the extension or downloaded from the public
filter lists above.
- webNavigation, idle, alarms, contextMenus: used to trigger local
features (auto-clear timers, focus mode, right-click menu items) —
none of these send data anywhere.
- host permission (all sites): required so ad-blocking, site-lock, and
the element picker can run on any site you visit, since you choose
which sites to protect/block/customize.
THIRD PARTIES
We do not sell, rent, or share any data, because we never receive any.
The only third parties your browser ever talks to as a direct result of
using this extension are: the filter-list hosts listed above, and (only
if you use that feature) haveibeenpwned.com.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the updated version will be included with the
next extension update and posted to [YOUR WEBSITE / SUPPORT PAGE, IF
ANY].
