unload tab, unload other tabs, but no "unload selected tabs"
if i have 40 tabs open and I want to unload only 12 of them then:
- I have to unload 12 separate times
or
- I have to select 28 other tabs and choose unload other tabs"
very inefficient there, if I select 12 tabs and click unload, it will only unload the tab that is page active but not the 11 other tabs. please add the option to unload multi-selected tabs. - Rated 5 out of 5by Vedun, 5 years ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Nick, 5 years agoI previously had another plugin that worked like a charm. This one somehow works, but a lot of memory is still being leaked so I have to restart browser often. Didn't have to do it with a previous one. I'm not sure, maybe a new plugin model doesn't allow to do it so good as before, but still, the effect is currently far from perfect.

Opened the All Tabs Helper extension and confirmed that ALL TABS other than the current tab were grayed out. This is a FABULOUS tool -- thank you NiklasG!

May I suggest that you take a look at Tab Suspender addon? the way the developer implemented this functionality is way better in my opinion, sadly I can not use this addon due to incompatibilities with other, more crucial, extensions.
Lastly, event do some functions are working in underoptimal conditions, I would have rated it four stars if it was not because it lacks an, in my opinion, key feacture. It can't auto unload tabs.

posted 7 years agoNeither Tab Suspender not its successor Auto Tab Discard seem to prevent tabs from being unloaded.
I don't really know when I will have time to continue my work on this, but first I want to wait for bug fixes in Firefox. Some are for example landing in FF 61. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13997081, 7 years ago
