- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18158169, a year agodude thank you so much for making this extension, I absolutely hate the brainless/immature slop (mostly vtubers) that twitch tries to shove down my throat anytime I open my home page. With twitch adblock and now this extension I can browse freely without intrusions on my sanity. When I finally get my CC i will be sure to donate to your noble cause :)

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16179928, 2 years agoAdds necessary features for filtering out garbage on twitch. Convenient to block out unwanted tags and channels. Author updates quickly and responds to communication effectively in regards to twitch updates which break functionalities. Highly recommend.

posted 2 years agoNew version releases soon (currently in review by Firefox's add-ons team). The changes on twitch.tv have been rolled out in waves this time, so it took two weeks before I could even start analyzing the new changes, let alone work on a fix. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17919910, 2 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13503974, 2 years agoOverall not bad, but the cloud save is not working at all. If I synch to cloud on my main computer, and check the cloud box on my 2nd computer, everything is gone. So its not just useless, it also removes all your set filters.

posted 2 years agoMost likely issues with the cloud service provided by the browser. Unfortunately I have no control over this. Backup/export your blacklist frequently and disable the cloud sync option in the extension settings of UTTV. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16070867, 2 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Eon, 2 years agoMuch as the last recent review, I also have been receiving the "The storage service encountered an unexpected error. Please wait a few minutes, restart your browser and try again." It seems to have 'frozen' the blacklist. No changes I make to the blacklist, whether it be adding or removing, seem to stay. It's been a few days since it started, and not even hitting clear all seems to do anything. When reloading the page it remains the same as before. This is my most used browser extension so I look forward to a fix! 5 star nontheless, considering this is the first time I've ever had an issue with it.
Edit: Disabling the cloud sync option, like suggested, fixed my issueDeveloper response

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16969705, 3 years agoA lot of time investment for nothing. Added a lot of filters until the addon told me to restart firefox, because the settings could not be syncronized. After the restart EVERY SETTING WAS GONE! Wow! Hours of filtering all the crap out of twitch gone. So this addon is useless for people who actually use it. Great! Thanks for the hours wasted I invested in searching for tags, games, channels and so on.
Edit 2022-09-28:
Thanks for the reply. I gave it another chance and did exactly that. "reliable enough" is far beyond driven, considering that the locally saved settings should have priority over NULL cloud saved setting, isn't it?
BTW: this addon really could use a language filter, a positive list for languages.Developer response
posted 3 years agoI'm sorry this happened to you. If the browser's cloud fails on you, the only save is using the export/import feature to backup your blacklist. You can also disable the cloud sync altogether if the cloud service isn't reliable enough for you.
