- Rated 1 out of 5by Cougs, 4 years agoI like the add-on but it periodically asks me for permissions to access personal data for all my websites. Why would a collection of bookmarked URLs need to access the any data outside of the web address and what I named the icon? This is extremely fishy and has convinced me to uninstall out of privacy concerns. I cannot recommend this add-on until this is addressed or explained.

posted 4 years agoThanks. I am about to launch a new version refactored from the scratch with a lot of new features.
Stay tuned.- Rated 3 out of 5by s20, 4 years agoIt looks great, and it has a lot of nice features that I really like. I love that it's open source, and not paywalled in any way. If I were starting a new bookmark collection, I'd probably stick with it, but there is no way to import bookmarks from other sources (at least not using the standard .html format). This makes it more or less useless to me - I need to be able to import my bookmarks from my old manager. Seems like a weird oversight, but I'm not a coder, so I have no idea how hard it is to implement. Anyway, if you're just starting or have a small collection of bookmarks that is easily to manually replace, this is a 5 star add-on. But if you've been on the web since the 90s, and have an extensive bookmark collection, it's less helpful.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13386478, 5 years agothe good:
+ idea and form in general
+ colors are customizable
suggestions and drawbacks:
- bookmarks are not easy to add in the long run. easier methods are available like define a bookmark folder within the existing folders (not a local folder) (cf. vivaldi)
- bookmark icons are incomplete and not automatically added from favicons or logo - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13874875, 5 years ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Boyvat, 6 years agoWhy the new version needs extra permissions such as "Access your data for all websites"?

- Rated 5 out of 5by harfenklang, 7 years agoGreat Addon, no need to create an account (like start.me) and very customizable!
But please add an option for a transparent group-background...having some groups the (beautiful background) is allmost covered. And please add an option to use pictures from own PC!Developer response
posted 7 years agoI am working on a new version which will have a group transparency option. Glad you point that out.
As for using your own images, unfortunately, firefox does not allow the extensions to load local files automatically, as long as I know :(
I am trying to find a workaround. Meanwhile, if you'd like you can use the Chrome version of this extension which allows access to local files.
Thanks a lot for your review!
