Usage Overlay for Claude ("the extension") is an unofficial browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that shows your Claude plan usage limits. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.

WHAT THE EXTENSION ACCESSES
• When you are signed in to claude.ai, the extension requests https://claude.ai/api/organizations and https://claude.ai/api/organizations/{id}/usage. The responses contain your organizations' identifiers and names, your usage percentages and reset times, and, if extra usage is enabled on your account, the amount of extra usage spent and its monthly limit.
• These requests are made by your browser with your existing claude.ai session. The extension does not read, store or transmit your cookies, passwords or other credentials.
• The extension does not read your conversations or any other page content on claude.ai.

HOW THE DATA IS USED
Only to show your usage in the toolbar badge, the popup and the overlay on claude.ai.

WHERE THE DATA IS STORED
The latest usage figures and your settings are stored locally in your browser's extension storage. The figures are replaced on each refresh, and all stored data is removed when you uninstall the extension.

SHARING
The extension sends no data to the developer or to any third party. It contains no analytics, tracking or advertising and uses no servers of its own. Its only network requests go to claude.ai.

LIMITED USE
The use of information received from claude.ai adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

CHANGES
Changes to this policy are published at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
