About this extension
Tired of Shorts, reruns, and clutter drowning out the videos you actually want to watch? Vidsieve strips all that away. No Shorts, no already-watched videos, no pushy recommendations, no comments section eating your screen. Just your feed, your way.
Free forever:
• Hide Shorts, Lives, Upcoming, Premieres, Mixes, Playables & Members-only videos
• Choose where each filter applies: Home, Subscriptions, Search, channel pages, or next to the video
• Block any channel in one click (with undo), mute it for a few days, or whitelist favorites to bypass every rule
• Hide videos you've already watched, with a customizable threshold
• Filter out videos by upload age
• Filter mode: hide matching videos, or just dim them
• Remove related videos, end-screen suggestions & the entire comments section
• Disable autoplay and infinite scroll, and choose how many videos per row
• Clean up the watch page: like/share/save/Ask buttons, description, channel info, merch, live chat & playlist panel
• Clean up the sidebar (Explore/Trending, Subscriptions & Shorts shortcuts, topic filter bar, "More from YouTube")
• Hide voice search & notifications in the header
• Blur thumbnails or hide profile photos across the feed
• Blank out the algorithmic home feed, or redirect it straight to Subscriptions, Watch Later, or Library
• 3 ready-made profiles (Deep Focus, Learning, Minimal), weekly stats, and settings export & import
• Pause with a shortcut, or for a while: it turns back on by itself in an hour or tomorrow morning
• Settings open in Chrome's side panel, right next to YouTube
Pro unlocks:
• Keyword blocklist (with regex support)
• Auto-schedule profiles by day & time
• 3 extra custom filter profiles, on top of the 3 free presets, plus rename & delete any of them
• Daily limit of videos per channel
• Filter by duration & view count (min & max)
• Hide Discovery & Featured shelves, hide algorithmic shelves in Subscriptions
• Preview mode (see what a rule would hide first)
• Add or select many channels at once
• Sync your settings across computers through your Chrome account
• Customize the popup, or open the side panel straight from the toolbar icon
Privacy first:
No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Everything runs locally in your browser, on the youtube.com page itself, and your watched list never leaves your device. The only network request the extension makes is to verify a Pro license, and only if you activate one. If you turn on Pro sync, your settings travel between your computers through Chrome's own sync.
Got an idea? We're listening:
Vidsieve is shaped by feedback from people who use it every day. If there's a filter, feature, or fix you'd like to see, send it our way. Every suggestion gets read.
