VNNet - Free VPN by Andrew

by J3ster, 8 months agoA lot of the servers, no bloat ui, connects just fine. Didn't find any limits, doesn't require thousands of permissions
The only thing I'd like to have is whitelist for site to always route through vpn, so I don't have to keep it enabled, would make the addon perfect.
Minor nitpick - the actual server location is almost always mismatched with the listed one, i.e Netherlands connects me to UK and UK to France, etc. Not that I care.
Edit - Thanks for the reply, I was suggesting to make a list of sites that would be routed through VPN by default, without having to turn the addon on for all the sites.
Edit 2 - I found that you can flip the whitelist to the other option which will only proxy specific sites instead of all sites, that sort of works.
Edit 3 - As of 20.04.25 unfortunately no longer works without another VPN, showing network error. It was becoming erratic last week and now completely gone out.
Understandably since it works with a VPN, the issue is with ISP blocking so not the developers fault, but seeing as the entire point of a VPN is to bypass it this renders the extension unusable for the moment.
Not uninstalling or changing the rating, hopefully it's just a temporary issue and will get fixed eventually.
