- Rated 4 out of 5by David Lazarus, 3 years agoThis plugin works well overall. However, it does not work without intervention for embedded audio players. In other words, I have to start playing the audio and then adjust the volume whereas for links to audio such as word pronunciations and videos work fine without intervention. I can just set it lower and it automatically plays lower. That said, I would like the control to be a bit more granular. While one notch can be a little to high, the next notch down is a little too low. Similar to the embedded audio problem, the same issue occurs with embedded videos; at least those in presentations within Canvas. Fix these issues and I will give this five stars and edit my review.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Pnévma, 3 years agothe volume isnt indepedent per tab as described. or maybe it doesnt work on dark mode like some users say. irrelevant because most of us use dark mode.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Mthoth, 3 years agoWorks as intended, and provides lower volume as well, not just a boost. However, if I'm listening to a playlist on Youtube, whenever there's an onscreen ad (a box in the middle of the screen), playback goes silent between tracks. One has to move the slider for sound to re-appear. If there's no ad, sound playback seems unaffected.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16924625, 4 years agoIn idea exactly what I was looking for as YouTube Music has a volume bar where the lowest volume is still way too loud. However it seems to produce glitching/stuttering sounds which I didn't hear before installing this addon.
- Rated 5 out of 5by mozmeister, 4 years agoI like it so far.
However (feature request), we need a blacklist/whitelist so we can chose for which sites/domains the function is enabled. - Rated 4 out of 5by Artem S. Tashkinov, 4 years agoCompletely dysfunctional in Firefox 89. Maybe it worked in the past, so let's rate it 4.

If the page provides a volume slider, that one will still work too. Like I said, this is a fix for non-working system mixer (that Firefox's been neglecting for far too long). If you're in that category, the volume would be far too loud (to the extend that it's unbearable) in most situations.
