After I had installed it I first thought that nothing had changed but then I saw that I had a new icon in my Menu Bar (to the right of my Address Bar). It is an old-fashioned TV with vertical coloured stripes and a V-aerial on top. When I click on the icon a popup menu appears with icons for various TV stations such as BBC1 and ITV.
I installed the addon because I wanted to watch the 6-nations rugby match on ITV and believed from last year that it was impossible to watch ITV on firefox and I had to watch Scottish TV instead. I was pleased to find that the link that the addon automatically started worked fine. Even the link to BBC1 was useful because it seems to require less cpu-power that live whats-on from the BBC site.
