The WbSrch Anaytics browser plugin collects information by "phoning home" with information about the websites that you visit and uses that information to rank the popularity of web domains.

This is very similar to Nielsen ratings or Alexa Internet. We count each URL you visit as a vote for the popularity of that site, and our site rankings become more accurate as more people use the plugin.

You can only get the browser plugin if you install it on purpose. We will never bundle it as a sneaky checked-by-default add-on in an application install, a drive-by web install, or other skullduggery.

The point of the plugin is to provide an easy way to assess the importance of a website you visit in exchange for information that will help us make our rankings more accurate.

Do not use the browser plugin if you are under 13 years of age. By installing it, you affirm you are at least 13 years old. We do not collect or verify age information, so we'll have to trust you on that.
