This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the WebSafe 365 for Firefox extension, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Pairing with WebSafe 365 for Firefox extension with WebSafe 365 parent mobile app:
in order to setup WebSafe 365 for Firefox, you (parent) needs to download the WebSafe 365 mobile app from the Google or Apple App store and create a new account with us from from the parent's mobile app.
At that point we collect parent's email address, full name and other authentication details to identify the parent's account.
When you first installed the WebSafe 365 for Firefox extension, extension will display a QR code to scan from the parents mobile app.
At this point we generate a random identifier to link the WebSafe 365 extension on Firefox with the parent mobile app. This linking data will also stored in our secure servers as well on Firefox local storage.
We do not collect or store any personally identifiable data of the user who will be using WebSafe 365 for Firefox extension.
Permitted trusted Websites:
When a firefox user enter a website address or click a link, WebSafe 365 for Firefox checks if the website domain name has been authorised from the WebSafe 365 mobile app by the parent.
If the website has been previously permitted, Firefox user will be able to access the website without any restriction.
If the website attempting access is not in the permitted list of websites, extension local website will be displayed instead with an option to 'request permission' from the parent. Firefox user will be the then able to request the permission from their parent who will be using WebSafe 365 mobile app.
If the parent accepts your request to access the website, WebSafe 365 extension will automatically direct you to the website. If the parent reject your request, website will remain blocked.
Permitted Trusted Websites list syncing:
In order to sync and stay up-to-date WebSafe 365 for Firefox with WebSafe 365 parent mobile app, WebSafe 365 pull the trusted website list information time to time from our secure servers.
Product usage logs:
We collect data on how you use the Product in order to improve it. We collect data on which alerts you see and whether you view, accept, reject, or ignore them. When you use the Products, WebSafe 365 may automatically collect:
technical data and device information—this includes data such as location as indicated by IP address, date and time of use, language preference, operating system, and browser type; and
data about your use of the product—this includes data such as when you log in or out, turn WebSafe 365 on or off.
Customer support:
We may collect and use the information you provide when you contact us to provide you with customer service, address any technical issues that you encounter, or to improve our products and services.
Sharing your information:
We use a small number of trusted third parties to provide the WebSafe 365 for Firefox extension. For example, we use Amazon Web Services to store text content, Stripe Inc to process payments. We may also share the information that we collect through the Firefox extension as required by law, such as in response to a court order or law enforcement request; if necessary to protect our rights or the rights of others; or in connection with a corporate restructuring.
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
Unsupported sites
There are certain websites for which WebSafe 365 is known not to work. For example WebSafe 365 will not block our website https://websafe365.com/.
Cookies
WebSafe 365 for Firefox do not use Cookies, it is using browser local storage instead to store its data.
Children
WebSafe 365 does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we determine we have collected personal information from a child younger than 13 years of age, we will take reasonable measures to remove that information from our systems.
EEA users
Individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA) have certain rights in respect to their personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete certain information we process through your use of the extension. UK Data protection
Innotech Solutions LTD (trading as WebSafe 365) is registered in the UK and complies with the UK Data protection law. Innovotech Solutions Ltd is the data controller and responsible for your personal data.
WebSafe 365 is registered with UK Information Commissioner's Office(ICO) under the Data Protection Act .

Data Storage
Information submitted to WebSafe 365 will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States on Amazon Web Services.
Changes to this Policy
We will notify you of any material changes that impact your rights under this Policy by, for example, sending you an email to your most recently provided email address and post any other revisions to this Policy here along with their effective date. Your continued use of WebSafe 365 after any change means that you agree with, and consent to be bound by, the new Policy.
