WideView: Remove Black Bars & Fill Ultrawide Video by Siddarth Kalaga

Black bars on your 21:9 or 32:9 monitor? Pillarboxed 4:3 clips on a 16:9 screen? WideView resizes HTML5 video in Firefox so it fits your screen.

Modes:
- Original (free): the full, untouched picture
- Fill (Pro): zooms the video evenly to fill the player. Some edges get cropped
- Stretch (Pro): stretches the video to fill the screen. No cropping, but proportions change
- Manual zoom and three saved presets (Pro)
- Keyboard shortcuts to cycle modes and reset (Alt+Shift+W / Alt+Shift+R)

Works on YouTube and many embedded HTML5 players. It does not work in native apps, on protected pages, or with closed shadow-root or canvas-only players. Results vary by site.

Pricing: Original is free. Pro is a 3-day trial, then $2.99 USD as a single payment, not a subscription. Refunds within 14 days of the charge via chalbidu@gmail.com.

Privacy: no analytics. Free use sends no browsing history or video URLs. Pro only verifies an activation code.

Fill and Stretch can't add detail. They don't increase the source resolution.
