About this extension
Window Tagger adds a simple tagging system to Firefox windows for use with Windows Fixer — an enterprise window manager for multi-monitor setups.
HOW IT WORKS:
• Click the extension icon → enter a tag name (e.g., "dev", "media", "docs")
• The tag appears as [WF:dev] prefix in the window title
• When you switch tabs — the tag stays
• When Firefox restarts — tags are restored via URL matching
USE WITH WINDOWS FIXER:
Create a rule: Process=firefox, Title contains=[WF:dev] → Move to M2 Zone 1
Each Firefox window goes to its designated monitor/zone automatically.
FEATURES:
• Popup UI for quick tag assignment
• Right-click context menu: "Set Window Tag"
• Persistent storage — tags survive restarts
• URL-based auto-restore after reboot
• Zero data collection, fully offline
