by tiredDragon, 5 years agoWonderful, well-working add-on with a nice minimalistic design. Makes me spend a lot of time just refreshing the new page to see more words :)
It seems to have relatively few words, though: I've run into the same ones quite a lot after just a few refreshes but maybe that will help me actually remember them... Maybe at some point in the future romanised transcripts could be added, as well as new words, it would definitely be useful.
I'll definitely keep using this great add-on, thank you for making it. Maybe I'll even get to see some new features eventually!

posted 5 years agoHi, tiredDragon. Thank you so much for your comments.
Firstly, I am sorry I may not be able to add more words because I found those words from an online database. However, you can find more words by simply changing the JLPT level ("about:addons" page in Firefox). What's more, the grammar point could be the same but the example sentence might be different.
Secondly, it may run into a sentence splitting problem to romanised all transcripts. Unlike English, Japanese sentences don't have spaces between words. Frankly, getting used to reading kana may help you learn Japanese faster.
Thank you again for using this add-on and have fun learning Japanese!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Savannah, 3 years agoThe furigana is sometimes wrong. (Examples: It puts 「ま」 over 「間」 in the phrase 「の間に」, instead of 「あいだ」; in the phrase 「とは限らない」, the furigana reads 「かぎら」 when it should be just 「かぎ」). Aside from that, no complaints so far.
(It would also be nice if the text could be read by Rikaichamp, but that's just a niche feature request. For all I know maybe it's not possible to have that kind of text in a new tab page.)
