X Account Insights is a browser extension that displays account information on X (formerly Twitter). This privacy policy explains how the Extension handles your data.

Data Collection

The Extension does NOT collect, transmit, or store any personal information about you.

What the Extension Accesses

1. Browser Cookies: The Extension reads the ct0 cookie from X.com to obtain a CSRF token. This token is used only to authenticate API requests to X's servers. The cookie is never transmitted to any third-party servers.
2. Local Browser Storage: The Extension stores the following data locally in your browser:

4. API rate limit information
5. X API query IDs

This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

- Is not synced to cloud services
- Can be cleared by uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data

Third-Party Services

The Extension makes API requests directly to X.com's servers using your existing browser session. No third-party services are involved in data processing.

Your Rights

You have full control over the Extension:
- Uninstall: Remove the extension at any time to delete all stored data
- Clear Data: Clear browser storage to remove cached information
- Review Code: The Extension is open source - you can review all code
