Privacy policy for X-Anti-Slop
X-Anti-Slop by Tasa
X-Anti-Slop processes post text locally in your browser to apply the regular-expression filters you configure. It does not send post text, account information, browsing history, or your filter list to us or to any third party.
Your filters, whitelisted account handles and display preferences are stored in the browser's local extension storage. Handles are read from a post author's profile links and saved only when you choose to whitelist the account or enter it in settings. The extension does not use analytics, advertising, cookies, remote filter subscriptions, or an external backend. It requests storage access and runs its content script only on X/Twitter pages listed in its manifest.
Removing the extension removes its locally stored preferences according to your browser's extension storage behavior. The extension's toolbar settings also let you reset filters or pause filtering.
Browser stores and GitHub may process information under their own policies when you download or install the extension. X continues to operate under its own policies while you use its website.
