About this extension
X Reply Sort Likes automatically opens X/Twitter post replies in Likes sort instead of Relevant whenever possible.
It also adds a few lightweight quality-of-life controls for X/Twitter:
- hide selected top Home tabs such as For you and Following
- hide the entire top Home tab strip if you prefer
- optionally hide common creator-facing UI, including compose buttons, reply buttons, reply boxes, and Creator Studio style links
The extension works on both
If you manually switch a post back to Relevant or Recent, the add-on respects that choice for the rest of the browser session.
Settings are stored locally in the browser. The add-on does not collect or transmit user data.

x.com and twitter.com. It prefers quiet request and URL rewriting first, and only falls back to a hidden native menu interaction if X renders the wrong reply-sort state. If you manually switch a post back to Relevant or Recent, the add-on respects that choice for the rest of the browser session.
