About this extension
Xnnoying adds block and mute buttons to every post on 𝕏, plus a history of your Home feed so you can find your place again after 𝕏 refreshes it.
The buttons sit in the top-right corner of each post, next to the menu that’s already there. You’ll see them in your Timeline, on individual posts, on profiles and in your bookmarks. Click one and the account is blocked or muted right away, with no menu to open and nothing to confirm. The button turns red or orange when it’s done. If something goes wrong, a short message lets you know so you can try again.
𝕏 also likes to refresh your Home feed, often at the worst possible time, and the posts you were reading disappear. Xnnoying keeps a list of the posts you scroll past on Home, covering your last 10 feeds, and marks the furthest one you reached. Open it with the History button at the bottom of the Home timeline, then click any post to go back to it. If the tab is still open, you can also restore a recent feed exactly as 𝕏 showed it, and the page scrolls back to where you left off.
The buttons and the history panel follow whichever theme you use on 𝕏: Default, Dim or Lights Out.
Xnnoying only runs on x.com and twitter.com. Your Home history is saved in your browser on this device and never sent anywhere. There are no servers, analytics or tracking, and block and mute requests go straight to 𝕏 using the account you’re already signed in to.
Xnnoying is an independent project and isn’t affiliated with X Corp.
