YouTube Anonymous – Pause History Temporarily by Rodrigo Barioni

Pause and resume watched-video history directly from Firefox.

YouTube Anonymous adds a control to the profile menu on YouTube and YouTube Music, as well as the extension popup. While enabled, it locally blocks player requests used to report playback and watch time. Disable it and new videos and songs are recorded again.

The language can be selected manually in the popup or set automatically from the browser language. The selection also applies to the control shown in the YouTube and YouTube Music menus.

“Anonymous mode” only refers to pausing history in this browser. It does not hide your IP address, sign you out, or affect other devices.
