- Rated 3 out of 5by DanLo', 2 years agoDoes not seems to work completely.
Video title is correcly not-translated on the channel page, however when I click to see it, then everything is translated.
See here, for instance : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeJ9q45PfD0
My youtube is setup in french, I see a french version of title + description.
In private nav, unconnected, everything goes back to original english version. - Rated 4 out of 5by Iridescence, 2 years agoDoes its job perfectly, except for playlists, where the video's auto translation isn't blocked, exemple: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNk_zzaMoSs&list=PLZHQObOWTQDPD3MizzM2xVFitgF8hE_ab&index=3

Are you kidding me?
1. You lie.
2. I use Firefox and not Google Chrome!
You don't have updated Youtube Anti Tranlate, because this extension freeze entirely a tab when I watch a video on Youtube.
You want anymore? Look at this script : youtube.com/user/[name of channel] > Injected script > line 1 > eval 650 ?
This last freezes Firefox when I watch a video choosed on whatever channel or else.
Else in the devtools, i've a background.js freezing when I watch a video? That's the proof.Developer response
posted 3 years agoOk, thanks for some more information. Could you please post the full error message? It's great that You have copied at what line it happens, but I'd like to see the message itself. Just to clarify, the word "chrome" is used in Firefox in some contexts, where it means user interface, hence that option name. You have enabled that, so you do see background.js in console
So could you please post the full error message? - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16663088, 3 years agoWork perfect as last version of firefox. Thanks a lot

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14830489, 3 years agoTested working in Firefox 95.0.2 (64-bit) as of 22-12-2021. Even works for video descriptions now. Big thanks for porting!
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17177606, 3 years agoUnfortunately doesnt work
watch?v=HuIb3XTQVJw (im most handsome 2018!) not at all.
This one is different for example. watch?v=t6bbuDUPIgk Its not anti translated at all in the search field but anti translated on the video link itself (only the title though, not the description)Developer response
posted 3 years agoCan you be more specific? It works for me EDIT: I released a new version, 1.5 which should hopefully fix this! - Rated 3 out of 5by Alberto, 3 years agoI'm using it on chrome and it works just fine, with firefox, it doesn't.
Developer response
posted 3 years agoHello, developer here. I haven't modified the actual translation part of the addon. I only added a few minor things like dark mode and changing extension.getURL to runtime.getURL. So I'll check the Chrome version for updates later today and update it. Thanks for your review Alberto! But please be more precise next time to say exactly what us the problem.
Regards,
Jan
