- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17141374, 3 years agoThis add-on used to be perfect but recently a bug has prevented the seamless switching of resolution when watching videos. For example to change from 720p to 1440p from the player itself does not work when the video is playing, and even with the video paused the resolution you want to select to requires at least 3 attempts before it actually changes.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Gorko, 3 years agoThis does exactly what it says and it does it fast and without any big problems. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is tired of Youtube setting your "Auto" quality to whatever speed your internet happens to be going at in that moment. My only problem, and it is a small one, is that with the recent update it has made it so when you attempt to buffer through videos with the arrow keys, it brings up the settings menu after each buffer, disallowing seamless buffering with the arrow keys. Not a huge problem by any stretch, but I would love to see it fixed.
Developer response
posted 3 years agoI fixed this issue in version 1.3.16
The right way to "fix" this would've been to reload the page.
However, if the user does not reload, the extension cannot fetch the user-preferred quality from the storage, thus my "fix" is to use a fallback, which is usually the screen width. - Rated 4 out of 5by Desmond, 3 years agoHas a bug that causes the scrollbar to appear in fullscreen mode when skipping.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14754883, 3 years agoReally handy addon, shame there's a need for it (I get it though).
My biggest gripe with it is that with every seek in a video, it pops the settings window open. This makes it impossible to seek with the keyboard without getting harassed by the settings popups.
It would be nice if it gave the focus back to the seek bar (or the main player element) after tweaking, and if it didn't make unnecessary adjustments every 10 second seek. - Rated 4 out of 5by EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, 3 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Lonelywolf21, 4 years agoSo annoying to see the developers ruin and destroy youtube more and more. Now you need an add-ons to have a quality on videos permanently. Shame on them! Tnx for this add-ons. You are a lifesaver.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13704650, 4 years agoO melhor, o mais simples e o mais funcional. Outras extensões parece que não se atentam ao FPS e por isto não funcionam como deviam. Este é o único que funciona.
