At the top, there’s a list of currently blocked channels, each with a red Remove button. Below that is a text field labeled "Channel name," where you can manually enter a channel’s name and then click Add Channel to block it. If you’re currently viewing a specific YouTube channeWhen you visit a blocked channel, the extension replaces the normal YouTube page with this overlay to indicate the channel is blocked. There’s also an Undo button that lets you remove the channel from the blocklist if you change your mind.This screenshot shows a YouTube search for “Netflix,” but no videos from the Netflix channel appear in the results. That’s because the extension has blocked the channel, so any videos from Netflix are hidden from view.
About this extension
YouTube Channel Blocker/Hider is a simple extension I created to help keep unwanted YouTube channels out of sight. If there’s a channel you never want to see again, just add it to your blocklist, and all its videos will disappear from your feed. You can always undo or remove a channel from the blocklist if you change your mind. Keep your YouTube feed free of distracting or unwanted content, and focus on the channels you actually want to watch!
