- Rated 5 out of 5by NSEW, 10 months agoI use this and blocktube. Between the both of them it allows me to keep channels blocked.

- Rated 4 out of 5by frikdt, a year agoWorks well enough for me. I've been using it for about a week now and have blocked many unwanted videos and channels. I would've given it full marks but for two things: Having to open configuration and add a regex becomes a chore, and I wish that blocked channels & videos could also have fed through to youtube's native 'Not interested' & 'Don't recommend channel' functions.
Update: 2025-07-25
As mentioned by several users recently, the block button no longer shows up next to the channel name; not only has this button disappeared, but channels in my Blocked users/channels list are appearing in my feed again (this would probably been much less of an issue if this function had been wired into youtube's native blocking functions, as mentioned in my initial review). I have the latest update installed. Can this please be fixed? - Rated 3 out of 5by Kyle, a year ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by orangedeal, a year agoSome channels cannot be blocked - there is no cross. I have to add them manually to the configuration file and then import it. But after adding, they will still appear (as related channels)
- Rated 5 out of 5by SiegeSquirrel, a year agoWorks like a charm, doesn't impede my experience at all. Great for removing unwanted drama-stirrers from the ol' recommended.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14025831, 2 years agoUse to be wonderful. But, while I can still block channels, which is great, it has started to hide any random channel when I type it in the search box... that have not been blocked... which is becoming increasingly frustrating ... but it hasnt been updated in over a year, so this might not be fixed ...

- Rated 3 out of 5by ValuableHorses, 2 years agoPreviously a five-star rating, but doesn't seem to affect comments by blocked parties anymore, which was my primary reason for using it. A shame, as it was effective and convenient for that previously.
For other purposes, it may still work fine. - Rated 5 out of 5by Generic Schlub, 2 years agoA genuine game changer. It makes the site actually good. I spent a couple hours putting in keywords and going through manually blocking channels when I first installed it and Youtube is now a completely different website. There are no videos of news, NSFW content, mindrot tik tok style content, reddit content, drama, stupid trends, kids content, memes, and so much more on the site now that I've installed this extension.
I've managed to turn youtube into a glorified documentary/video essay website with some gaming, book reviews, and game/book lore content mixed in.
I can't recommend this extension highly enough. It also barely uses up any resources on my PC to run. - Rated 5 out of 5by Kindle, 2 years agoLove this! I'm able to look through the replies while seeing almost no bots, finally!
