YouTube Dislike: Audience Score and Sentiment brings the dislike vibe back, powered by Google Gemini and your own free API key.

Ever wished you could see the audience reaction before watching? This extension samples YouTube comments, sends up to 60 of them to Gemini in one batched request, and shows an audience estimate (Loved, Mixed or Hated) as a native-looking badge beside the like button (a slim bar on Shorts). The popup adds a one-line summary, audience impressions and evidence-backed health flags.

PRIVACY:
Up to 60 sampled comment texts and vote counts are sent to Google's Gemini API when (and only when) you have saved an API key. When available, the current title and up to 4,000 characters of captions/transcript context are included in that same request. No analytics, no tracking, no vendor proxy. Full policy in PRIVACY.md.

HOW IT WORKS:
1. Install: the setup page walks you through a free Gemini key (one time)
2. Pin the extension via the puzzle-piece menu so the verdict stays one click away
3. Open any YouTube video (reload the tab if one was already open)
4. The extension fetches up to your chosen depth and samples at most 60 comments
5. Gemini returns one audience estimate; the inline badge or Shorts bar shows the mood
