THANK YOU! I like watching shorts on pc and without this addon, I can't lower the volume, or jump a few seconds forward/backward. Shame youtube did not think adding these features.

browsed yt shorts for like 10 seconds and it was littered with absolute shite, went immediately to this and it's a godsend!

Unpopular opinion but I don't mind YouTube shorts or the dedicated shorts player itself for mobile and tablet, but for desktop the shorts player is annoying, so this add-on does a fantastic job bypassing the shorts player and redirecting the media from the shorts back into the regular default player. I also love how you can disable the shorts tab on the home screen menu bar.

Solid experience, But it works poorly with the new shorts tab on channel pages, seemingly redirecting to channel/watch?v=undefined instead of channel/shorts

I use it to hide youtube shorts spam in my suscription feed. For now it works well! I'm happy.

Works perfectly, quietly eliminates the worst feature youtube has ever added. There's actually no difference from a normal video except that it's vertical. The loading time for videos that were originally "shorts" is a bit longer, but it's definitely worth it.
