- Rated 5 out of 5by Fiddleplum, 4 months agoThis is a great add on! I don't need all of the features (just basic grouping), so I'm glad it has a free version with the basic features. The interface is also super slick. Thank you for all of your hard work!

- Rated 5 out of 5by James, 4 months agoBest Youtube extension I've seen. This is such a useful tool to create folders for managing videos. Wish I had found this much sooner!
- Rated 1 out of 5by mrmc101, 4 months agofree version is useless as it only allows 1 subscription to be added to 1 group. that is literally useless. devs want you to pay 3 bucks a month for basic functionality.

posted 4 months agoWhat do you mean? It's a lie. You can create an unlimited group count and add any count of subscriptions to it on the free plan. It looks like you missing or mixed something - Rated 1 out of 5by Greg, 4 months agoThe price must be clearly stated at front! Using a Patreon-based paywall is deceptive, especially when your tutorial videos don't make it clear that they're promoting a paid version. It's appalling how you manipulate your audience. You could achieve much more if you were simply honest. Massive disappointment! Say no to subscription pay models!

posted 4 months agoAre serious? What is not honest here? Every tutorial has a showing Patreon tab where we show a list of paid features and prices, for example, the main tutorial: https://youtu.be/r4iX53Qg2sE?si=s6L9gpQPAB42c6P2&t=156 If you blame me please send any link where tutorial videos without showing paid features
And even more the base groups for organizing subscriptions are free and use more than 400K users across all browsers, if you want extended features to use it becomes my supporter on Patreon. It takes time to update the extension every time YouTube changes internally.
Furthermore, the decision to keep some features for the Patreon version of PocketTube was made to ensure the long-term feasibility of the free version. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18196924, 4 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by MarieCry, 5 months agoThe only features I wanted were locked behind patreon paywall. These shouldn't be advertisede under screenshots without stating they are pateron only as it is being sold on it's premium features. At it's base you can only create groups of subscriptions. Status, batch mode, seeing inactive subscriptions, auto tags are all patreon exclusive. So is opening the settings menu which is wild!
Developer response
posted 5 months agoPocketTube offers a wide range of features on the free version. The core features of the free version are unlimited subscription groups, channel management, video feed by group, filters on the subscriptions and channel page, integration to the main page and left sidebar, notifications, sync with Google Drive, and much more.
if you want extended features, become my supporter. It takes time to update the extension every time YouTube changes internally. Most of the features were requested by our long-time patrons and implemented especially for them. Furthermore, the decision to keep some features for the Patreon version of PocketTube was made to ensure the long-term feasibility of the free version. - Rated 5 out of 5by frostbyte, 5 months ago
