About this extension
Clear out your YouTube subscriptions in one run, from the subscriptions page you already use.
Open youtube.com/feed/channels and the manager takes the place of the list, inside YouTube's own page. It reads your complete subscription list from the data YouTube's own page already loaded, asking YouTube's subscription endpoint only for the rest, so every channel is there at once with its avatar, handle, subscriber count and bell setting: no scrolling, no "load more", no refreshing. Sort by name, last upload or subscribers, filter by name, and decide what goes:
• Last upload per channel: set a months threshold and "Select inactive" checks each channel's public feed, shows how long ago it last uploaded, and picks every channel quiet longer than that, plus every channel that never uploaded. Dates stay on your device for a week, so the next click is instant.
• Keep marks: mark the channels you want to keep. A kept channel is never selected, and the mark is remembered for next time.
• CSV backup first: when you start, a CSV of your full list (name, link, channel id, last upload, kept) downloads before anything changes.
• Pause, stop, retry: pause and resume mid-run, stop at any point, and retry the channels that failed. Every row shows its own status: pending, running, done, failed.
• Fast: channels are removed through the same endpoint YouTube's own buttons use, hundreds in minutes, at a steady pace. If that path is ever unavailable, the extension falls back to clicking the page's buttons on its own.
• Built for big lists: thousands of channels stay smooth, and when YouTube asks to slow down the run waits and continues instead of failing.
• Resume: a run remembers its queue, so after a reload you can pick up where it stopped.
• Undo: "Restore from CSV" re-subscribes every channel in a backup file.
• Works in any interface language and with any sort order. It reads data and structure, not words.
• Filter by name while you choose.
It uses the session of the page you are already signed in to, exactly as YouTube's own buttons do, so it needs no password and no API key. It makes no request to any server of its own: the only network traffic is YouTube's own pages, endpoints and public channel feeds on youtube.com, plus the channel avatars YouTube serves from its image host, loaded the way YouTube's own list loads them. Nothing is collected or sent anywhere. Free, no account, no cap, no paid tier.
How to use it
1. Install, then click the toolbar icon and choose "Open subscriptions" (or open youtube.com/feed/channels). The manager replaces the list and loads every subscription by itself; "Show YouTube's list" brings the original back.
2. Optional: set the months threshold and click "Select inactive"; it checks last uploads first. Tick or untick channels; mark keeps.
3. Click "Start", confirm the count. The CSV downloads, then the run begins. Pause, stop or retry as needed; reload and resume if you must.
4. Changed your mind? "Restore from CSV" re-subscribes from the backup.
