- Rated 5 out of 5by Bipbop, 4 years agoWorks as advertised, and great for saving bandwidth (i assume, because of reduced bandwidth) for videos on the background, used for music.
To test: once you set it up to change videos to your preferred quality -- try setting a youtube video to different quality, then refresh (quality will auto-change to extension's preference).

it removes youtubes "(auto)"
if you change the video quality manually,
it will keep this new setting for follow-up videos.
- doesn't force the video back to the setting made in the add-on
- doesn't reload all youtube tabs at once
