- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15167455, 6 years agoi am not sure why it wants to communicate with other software other than firefox, maybe with apps containing my bank account? i have several apps related to stock market. i don't have any evidence, but i will report if something happens.
it functions alright. i downloaded some videos, but when i recommend this to my family, i noticed that the permissions this add-on requires is concerning. therefore i have decided to remove this add-on. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15165294, 6 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by nu1x, 6 years agoThis add-on is open source (you can check the github), requires ffmpeg and native client (both also open source), and if you take the time to properly install and configure everything, take into account that the videos for download still show as "video only" and if you click on (1 of) them, AND WAIT, it will download video AND audio files and merge them appropriately. Use ctrl+j to watch the progress when you click a video and take into account that on your disk, the files all show 0 size until fully downloaded.
The most transparent add-on I found, and it works flawlessly, so I'm giving it 5 stars. Thank you developer.
