- Rated 5 out of 5by Yumzoi, 3 years agoJust what I wanted, replicates the twitch theatre mode which I'm a big fan of. Why youtube hasn't implemented this themselves is beyond me but this works perfectly!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Dragonborn, 3 years agoI was previously using a similar add-on but switched to this one which not only functions fantastically, but also lets me make the chat background transparent and on top of the video, a feature I did not know I needed.

- Rated 4 out of 5by JJ, 3 years agoThe Chat Box is slightly to big and I can't seem to fix it in the settings so now 1 chat line (the most bottom one) is either missing or incomplete. Other then that great add-on!

- Rated 5 out of 5by R315r4z0r, 4 years agoThis is an amazing addon that anyone who watches streams on Youtube should have installed.
However, there are two (very minor) issues with the addon that I hope can be fixed in a future update.
1. There seems to be a hotkey (T) used to toggle the mode on and off. This hotkey remains active even when the video isn't focused. So if I try to write a comment in the comment section, pressing T toggles theater mode and makes it impossible to continue the comment.
2. Youtube did a recent facelift update and changed the data that is displayed near the video's title area. Now, if you turn theater mode on, this new data is stuck and overlayed over the video and doesn't go away.Developer response

The two issues should be fixed with version 3.0.3 (amongst other bugs):
1. The hotkey to toggle livestreams theater mode will not trigger anymore when focus is on a text area or input field.
2. I still get the old version of the title area, but found the new one in the code, which is probably currently delivered to some users as part of an A/B-testing. This new version of the title area should now be supported too, assuming that you get the same one I found in the code. - Rated 5 out of 5by FaKRaS, 4 years agoThis is amazing. God bless you. 15/5 stars. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16897763, 4 years agoAmazing extension, it wonderful to take advantage of all the space, would be the perfect extension if it can be possible to do the same thing when watch a video from a playlist, putting the playlist on the rigth side, like the chat

Update: fixedDeveloper response
posted 4 years agoThank you for the report. There was an update on YouTube today that broke the extension. The newest version 2.0.2 should fix the issue. - Rated 5 out of 5by satiric, 4 years agoTwitch has had this feature for years, IDK why youtube has never implemented it. This extension works perfectly, haven't had any problems whatsoever.
