- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16744781, 4 years agoSeems to do exactly what it promises to. What I would personally really hope for in a filter add-on like this would be the option to filter *out* certain content, however.
I understand that getting people to actually report/block spammers is important too, but for that reason too, I feel it would be useful to at least have the instances of the same message spammed at least reduced to a single, perhaps highlighted item with a single button to block and report at once, rather than letting them show up just as intrusive as in the regular chat. - Rated 5 out of 5by Achmad, 4 years ago

LiveTL is good for those people who does not know the tags like [EN] for english or tags of their own language
but what ytcfilter got ahead of LiveTL is that the flexibility to add a filter which does not exist so far from what i have seen in LiveTL (if it does, pls tell me). since not all Translators follow the [EN] tag. some do EN: or {EN} or use like P: (for pekora words). also what if i want both english and spanish since i speak both and i can compare the translations.
what LiveTL got ahead of ytcfilter is the user filter to remove message from undesired person. the adjustment of the size of chat and translator chat is also pretty good. its easy to adjust each of their size. and this is the important part; they initialized the tags needed for translation of all language. this is the only reason why many people prefer LiveTL over ytcfilter since not all people know how to add filters nor know the tags they needed for a specific language. they only target those tags with brackets like [EN] or [ES] or [other language tags]
its would also be nice to see a feature to remove each message.
as for the mobile, LiveTL is the only option so they win hands down.
for me ytcfilter wins hands down especially when used hololive jetri but for casual users or users who does not know the tags. this would be hard for them to use.
Hope you will improve and continue this.Developer response

About removing message from undesired person, in the latest version, I have integrated the Youtube's block/report button. It has some limitation, but my goal has always been to be able to use the native functions so that spammer can be reported and thus contributing to the community, whether or not they have the extension.
For people having trouble setting up, I have added default presets, but I suppose it can be improved even further.
As for a mobile version, sadly I'm alone and already too busy with the browser extension. - Rated 5 out of 5by skyfrost, 4 years agoafter new update 2.1.2, Filter type likes Author is owner, moderator, verified all can't be use. only message includes work

- Rated 5 out of 5by Muffin Nachos, 4 years agoThis is excellent. I'd also like to request, if possible, an option to have the filtered chat flow through the video danmaku style, like on Nico Nico.
