Zenith Reader does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

All data — including saved highlights/annotations and user settings — is stored exclusively in browser.storage.local on your own device and is never sent anywhere.

The optional AI Summary feature connects only to a local server address (localhost / 127.0.0.1) configured by the user. No article content or personal information is transmitted to any third-party or cloud service.

No analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind is present in this extension.
