This is one of most powerful language learning tool you can have at your disposable when it comes to learning Mandarin. It's so simple and so effective at the same time. It really just translates Chinese character instantly. I mean, I used to used a paper dictionary, and then an online dictionary. I was almost tempted to buy one of those translator pens.
This extension quite literally saved me a lot of time and a few dollars. Now I'm reading the "About this extension" page and I found out you can save words by clicking "r"
Whoever made this extension, please let me support you. You have no idea how grateful I am. - Rated 5 out of 5by Kaneda85, 10 months ago

Hopefully one day when we select several words we can have all of them instead of one by one.
But overall great add-on, thank you so much ! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18112342, a year ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Nightlark, a year agoDoesn't show an icon in the toolbar like it should, nor does it have an option to enable it in the add-on settings. Cannot be activated in this current update and is not usable.

posted a year agoHi, thanks for your feedback. Here's how you get it work: If the Zhongwen icon is not shown in the toolbar, you need to click on the Extensions icon in the upper right hand corner (it looks like a puzzle piece), then next to the Zhongwen extension click on the settings icon (looks like a cogwheel) and select "Pin to Toolbar". That's it, now you should be able to see the Zhongwen icon in the toolbar and you can use it to turn the extension on and off. - Rated 5 out of 5by giovanni, 2 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17935234, 2 years agoThe extension works well, but often instead of just showing the definition, it'll say "see [another entry]", for example for 抑扬顿挫, it says "see 顿挫抑扬", which would be fine if this wasn't for an extension to hover over words. This means that I have to look up the term anyways, which sort of defeats the purpose of installing this extension.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17794480, 2 years agoOLD: Simply doesn't work for me in any way right after installing the add-on. Restarting Firefox or reloading pages doesn't help. There is simply no add-on logo in top right corner.
NOW: It works!
