by Firefox user 13306618, 8 years agoA very useful add-on, helps my ageing eyes to read on a Surface screen.
I feel the ability to set a default zoom should be part of FF out-of-the-box as it is in MS Edge, but this app nicely fills that gap.
One weird thing is that the 'Options' and 'More' screens (available from the FF Extensions page) show the same information. I expected the 'Options' page just to show the options settings without repeating the details from the 'More' screen and vice versa. As it is now they seem to be identical.

posted 8 years agoThe 'More' link and 'Options' button in the Add-ons Manager do show the same information.
To access the Zoom Page WE options you must scroll to the bottom of either page.
This is a feature of Firefox and applies to all WebExtensions add-ons. It would have been more logical if the 'Options' button only showed the add-on options.

For instance their instructions say this:
"After installation of Zoom Page WE, there will be a new icon on the main toolbar with a blue badge showing the current zoom level."
That is NOT true. There was no blue icon on the toolbar (and they should have shown a picture of the icon to let us know what it looks like).
Here is how to make that icon appear in Firefox version of Zoom Page WE:
Click on the Firefox Extension icon which is on the Firefox Toolbar.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Marty, 2 months agoI am totally enthusiastic about this extension because it allows you to enlarge the font on a homepage on a per-site basis. I have been looking for this for a long time. I was always annoyed that there was no extension for Firefox like Zoom Text only for Google Chrome.
- Rated 1 out of 5by molitar, 3 months agoAdd on now breaks all printing. Print labels from UPS it's blank. Print cart from sites like Home Depot and page is blank. This makes this extension unusable now. Disable this addon and both printing works fine.
