- Rated 4 out of 5by Salaam, 7 years agoHi,
The zoomed pages are now reset to the default zoom (for about a second) before they're zoomed again to their specified value. Please fix it!
Note that the AutoFit Zoom is turned off & I'm using FF v56.0 x64.
Thank you so much for your wonderful addon :)Developer response
posted 7 years agoThis problem is fixed in Zoom Page WE 6.1, which has just been released. - Rated 5 out of 5by SharpSA, 7 years agoIt is working good for me, but there is no complete automatic alignment to the width of the current window so you do not have to click it.
Developer response
posted 7 years agoZoom Page WE 6.0 implements fully automatic fit-to-width.
To turn on this feature you must enable the 'Apply AutoFit zoom instead of default zoom level' option. - Rated 5 out of 5by tmk333, 7 years agoI have no complain about the functionality, hence the 5 stars. :)
Just want to ask is it possible to make it zoom in/out by scrolling over the button? I am not sure if it is possible with WE but it will be a very nice thing to have.Developer response
posted 7 years agoIt is not possible to zoom in/out by scrolling over the toolbar button, because the WebExtensions APIs do not provide a listener for these scroll events.
However, you can zoom in/out by scrolling over the button popup or by Ctrl+scrolling over the page contents. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13306618, 7 years agoA very useful add-on, helps my ageing eyes to read on a Surface screen.
I feel the ability to set a default zoom should be part of FF out-of-the-box as it is in MS Edge, but this app nicely fills that gap.
One weird thing is that the 'Options' and 'More' screens (available from the FF Extensions page) show the same information. I expected the 'Options' page just to show the options settings without repeating the details from the 'More' screen and vice versa. As it is now they seem to be identical.Developer response
posted 7 years agoThe 'More' link and 'Options' button in the Add-ons Manager do show the same information.
To access the Zoom Page WE options you must scroll to the bottom of either page.
This is a feature of Firefox and applies to all WebExtensions add-ons. It would have been more logical if the 'Options' button only showed the add-on options. - Rated 5 out of 5by Pavel777, 7 years agoStarting with version 5.2, the set scale of the page "chrome: //fvd.speeddial/content/fvd_about_blank.html" is not saved.

This problem is fixed in Zoom Page WE 5.4. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13287805, 7 years agoZoom page doesn't work well with many popup plugin, Zoom page WE fixes this problem
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13285367, 7 years agoWorks perfectly fine for me :)
Exactly what I was looking for
Thanks - Rated 3 out of 5by Phil, 7 years agoSetting a minimum font size considerably slows down typing inside a search box with autocomplete. I'll keep using the extension but using the zoom option instead of minimum font size. Another reviewer mentions the extension is overloading the CPU, and the devs of the app replying it has to do with text zoom and minimum font size. They introduced a lite mode in the last version (which disables these features). I think they should fix it, or remove the features entirely.
- Rated 1 out of 5by toexc, 7 years agoСильно грузит ЦП, Firefox Nightly постоянно показывает предупреждение о том что этот аддон тормозит работу моего ПК. В примечаниях к выпуску версии 52 я не увидел улучшения производительности. Мой ЦП Celeron J1800.

thanks! 5.2 or 5.3 didn't do the trick. still the same issues, but what did the trick was checking full zoom only. Now it's fine.Developer response
posted 7 years agoThis issue should be fixed by Zoom Page WE 5.4.
Zoom Page WE 5.4 has been submitted to Mozilla for review and release, which will probably take a couple of days.
Please post again if this issue is not fixed. - Rated 5 out of 5by ethsen, 7 years agoIf I choose to show the zoom level the toolbar icon shows only the number 10 instead of 100 for the zoom level. It's also not aligned properly with any other toolbar icon, it looks out of place. For now I just disable the zoom level to the default icon, unfortunately the black % icon is barely readable using the new built-in Firefox dark theme. Hopefully there will be an option to change the color to white.
EDIT: The issue with 100 being cut off was was due to a font setting in my userChrome.css. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13128982, 7 years agoThis works well but it slows down page loading significantly. For pages like facebook it can be twice as long to load the page. On average about 50% longer page loads than without this addon. The pre WE version is much better with page loading speed.
- Rated 5 out of 5by some_user, 8 years agoGreat to see this being ported to WebExtensions. Maybe I just can't find it, but there is one thing I miss from the original extension: option to turn on auto-fit zoom *globally*, i.e. everything is zoomed to fit the width of the browser window (including new pages/tabs). This is extremely useful for using external monitors. But in any case, thanks for this addon!
Developer response
posted 8 years agoGlobal AutoFit zoom is a feature that was omitted during the migration of Zoom Page to the new WebExtensions API's.
However, it is feature that many users will miss when they move to Zoom Page WE. The intention is to add a new 'Apply AutoFit instead of Default Level' option in the next release. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12957229, 8 years agoBalloon message:
For Per-Site zoom mode, 'browser.zoom.siteSpecific' must besetto 'true' in 'aboufcconfig' preferences - Rated 3 out of 5by Elyssa, 8 years agoIt causes quiz popup to not be displayed on Bing Rewards Offer Page. Only search is displayed.
I liked it until this issue. I liked how easy it was to do different text and page zooms/sizes and site specific. - Rated 5 out of 5by Lucas, 8 years agoMuch better for those just wanting text zoom functionality. Thanks for the hard work.
- Rated 5 out of 5by dLeon, 8 years agoOther commentators already mentioned it's the best you can find.
Idi0t proof & just work. - Rated 3 out of 5by tbvnz, 8 years agoI love this addon i would give it 5 stars, but not everyone uses a light colored theme. Im using the Mozzila Edge theme, which is nearly black. I see in settings theres an option to change icon text red, that doesnt work either. it would be nice to have an option to have white. i never know exactly what my text level is unless its reset back to 100%.

posted 8 years agoWhich version of Zoom Page WE are you using?
Which Mozilla Edge theme are you using?
Please can you post a link to the theme you are using - or email a link to: dw-dev@gmx.com - Rated 5 out of 5by streetwolf, 8 years agoThe best since the old NoSquint. Web Extensions ready too.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12365963, 8 years agoThis is the best text zooming addon you can find. It does the job easily without messing up functionality like zooming an image with a scroll wheel. It has per site text zoom and default text zoom. The only thing was that it required me to go into about:config to enable per site zooming.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Zingerus, 8 years agoDon't work on Firefox for Android 48.0, although for android.
Developer response
posted 8 years agoZoom Page WE is compatible with Firefox (for desktop) 48+, but is not compatible with Firefox for Android.
Zoom Page was mistakenly marked as compatible with Firefox for Android. This has now been corrected.
