    For someone who doesn't always take the time to RTFM it would be an improvement if the extension alerted/prevented you from typing "http" or "https" and slashes in the whitelist entries.

    Some sites work with Firefox for Windows but fail on Firefox for Linux. This needs to be investigated.

    The next version 2.4 (currently under review) will contain your suggestion and mark invalid entries on the settings page.

    Works great, but please, add the option to auto-close (or not to open) the tab in standard (non-private) window. Currently, when I open a webpage listed in settings, it opens the page both in normal window and in private window.

    It automatically opens the domains in new windows, making it completely useless..

    The key feature of this add-on that certain domains are opened privately. This is only possible by using a private window. This cannot be implemented by using, for example, a tab in a non-private window.

    Great addon, does it's job well.
    Please remember to explicit allow the addon running in private mode, otherwise it will fail!

    Maybe the developer can make the addon check whether you allowed it yet and if not advise to do so.

    This addon is useful if you are using FF with DDG, it can be used to automatically open !bangs in privacy mode.

    For me, on Firefox 96.0.3, this extension only works correctly if I'm on the first tab in a window when I launch a listed site. Otherwise the listed site opens in both normal window AND private window.

    Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, I did not yet find a way to circumvent this behavior which is caused by how web extensions in Firefox work.

    Very good extension, does the job perfectly. The invert option is really helpful to change the behaviour of the add-on and open everything that's not in the whitelist in private tab. Thanks 👍

    Works as expected, except in the following edge cases:
    When Pasting a link in the url bar it opens a new private window, but the link opens in the normal window any way. Same thing when opening a link from another application (pdf-reader, messagenger,...)
    Also It should look for existing private windows rather than creating a new for everything.
    But i like that it is opensource and keeps it promis

    Good Idea but it doesn't work on FF79.0 and also looking in Github it seems not maintained anymore.

    Yes now I see what you mean. Would be great to ask "add-on execution in private windows" permission during the installation if possible or make more clear in the documentation that this is a manual step.

    However thanks it works as expected now.

    I just checked, with some FF79.0 installations. The add-on works here in all of them.
    Did you make sure, you allowed the add-on execution in private windows? This is mandatory for the add-on to work.

    There is no activity in the development because at the moment I did not have a reason to change the functionality or fix bugs.

    amazing security, best there is however one caveat, it does not work with FF 71.0b4; i do not see a permission to run in private windows listed
