If you hate Youtube Shorts, THIS is the extension you need. IT works, simple as that.
Check the disable shorts button and your all done.

I just installed it, and it works like a charm. I have anxiety and I suffer a lot when youtube randomly put videos containing my triggers. Now I can block all of them with a simple keyword and I couldn't be more happier. Is there a way I can support the developers?

Great add-on, does exactly what it says on the tin. My only wish is that it came with dark/night mode too.

Edit: The fantastic dev added dark/night mode to the UI, it's now 6 stars from me.

Oh my goodness...this addon was exactly what I needed. If you are tired of YouTube shorts cluttering your feed/subscriptions, this addon is the solution. Simple check box, now I have a clean feed again.

I just came back to say thanks a million for this awesome add-on! Actually it's become part of my relaxation process to simply block hundreds of stupid youtube channels; and narrow down my the results of youtube to my preference. So thank you so much. I wish I could install this add-on on my android firefox edition.

Worked perfectly for the longest time. As of the last month or so, it's completely non-functional. Channels I've already blocked stay blocked, but the UI to block more channels is broken with no way to do so anymore.

(UPDATE) Addon is now working again as intended. Good job devs, YouTube is tolerable again.

Came here for a solution against YT shorts and I'm 100% satisfied. It does have a native option for it and works out of the box.
