DeArrow - 优化 Youtube 标题和缩略图的评价 – 适用于 Android 的 Firefox 附加组件（zh-CN）

I have been dreaming of this addon for years. Ajay Ramachandran is a god among us. Thank you Ajay for all that you do!

I think this add-on is a great idea, and like many other reviewers, I didn't really know I needed this until I turned it on.

Currently, my only issue is that this app seems to really mess with the initial loading of videos, like it will stutter or not start in the first 10~20 seconds before returning to normal performance.

This will only get better as more people start contributing to the process, but even now, not being exposed 24/7 to clickbait and other means to tug at your attention span makes a world of difference.

Edit: Thank you for the response. It seems thumbnail generation service is back online, and as long as local generation performance can be improved, I think that might be the better long term solution, but I'm not here to tell you how to run the add-on.

The thumbnail generation service I'm running has gone down to due a storage issue, so it is falling back to local generation, which is probably causing those issues. I'll look into making the local generation work better in the future when outages happen.

Does what it says on the tin, developer does a good job. Wish it had more community contributions but that will come with time. Love that it's open source, keep up the good work

It's so refreshing to not be bombarded by clickbait thumbnails. Plus, the occasional rewritten video title is nice (though I enjoy the ability to temporarily see the originals). The only issue is that it takes longer to load the new thumbnails, but honestly that's not much of a problem.
