发布于 8 年前Hello, vrv.co is almost certainly using your IP to detect your country.
Location Guard is not _meant_ to protect against that (no browser extention can), but instead to protect the location exposed via javascript. You can find more information about this here:

I forestalled "upgrading" to v57 because "Location Guard" wasn't available when I went to update. Not a problem for me. I would rather use it.
The options to obscurifate your location, if you want to sort of present your actual location is great. - 评分 4 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13563684， 8 年前Is there an option to make the fake geo-location match the IP address location? Some website marks your ip address if both locations are too far off.

发布于 8 年前Not automatically, but you can use the "Fixed Location" mode, and set it to any location in your country in the options page.

The extension should work on 57.0.1. The icon appears _only_ when a page asks for your location. Try this demo:
