Simple and user friendly for anyone want to take back control of there digital life.
One of the first addon I install on a fresh Firefox, the ultimate combo combined with a good ad-blocker for security, privacy and memory usage. - 评分 5 / 5来自 containers-everywhere, 8 年前

I'm not sure about data collecting though. This developer's uBlock is famous to make external connection in background. What about this one?开发者回应

What is this nonsense? Stick to facts/evidences and stop spreading disinformation.
uMatrix and uBlock Origin connects only to download assets used (filter lists, hosts files), and you have full control over this. I know of no content blocker in the same class as uBlock Origin which do not need to regularly download filter lists for their proper functioning, so you have to be trolling to claim that I am "famous" for what is the expected behavior.

If you do not like it, just don't use the extension, and refrain from spreading disinformation. - 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13724417, 8 年前

Requires customization for most sites, worth it if you are already used to NoScript (I use this one now instead, allowing, by default, only 1st party content without scripts, which I enable manually). Once set up for your main sites not much of a hassle. Sometimes requires some experimenting to find out which content is actually required. Creates awareness.
