Two tools in one small popup: a volume booster and a playback speed controller.
Some videos are just too quiet — laptop speakers maxed out and you still can't hear the dialogue. Others you'd rather watch at 1.5x. This does both from a single 220px popup, so you're not juggling two separate extensions.
FEATURES
• Volume boost from 0% to 600%, using the Web Audio API
• Playback speed from 0.25x to 4x
• Quick presets for the settings you actually use (100/200/400%, 1x/1.5x/2x)
• Collapsible panel — tuck it away when you only need one control
• Your settings are remembered between sessions

PRIVACY
No ads. No tracking. No analytics. No account. Nothing leaves your browser — your volume and speed preferences are stored locally on your own device and nowhere else.
PERMISSIONS, AND WHY
• Storage — remembers your volume, speed and panel state between sessions
• Access to website data — required to reach the video or audio player on whichever page you're watching. Nothing is read from the page or sent anywhere.
NOTES
Volume above 100% is achieved by routing audio through a Web Audio gain node. On a small number of sites the media is served without the CORS headers this requires; on those, volume is limited to the normal 100%. Speed control still works everywhere.
Very high boost levels can distort audio on some speakers. Start around 200% and increase from there.
Free and always will be. If it saved you some hassle, there's a tip button in the popup — entirely optional.
