关于此扩展
Do you move the login page of your WordPress sites (WPS Hide Login, SecuPress, Perfmatters…)? Great for security, less so for your memory: every site has its own address, and you have to type it again each time.
2xShift remembers it for you. On any page of a WordPress site, tap Shift twice: you are sent to the site's login page, then back to where you were once logged in.
HOW IT WORKS
• First double Shift on a site: a small panel asks where its login page is (/wp-admin/, your usual path, a custom path, or "never redirect here"). The choice is saved for that site. • Next times: double Shift, done. • Already logged in? Nothing happens. Type away without fear of an unwanted redirect. • Not a WordPress site? Nothing happens either.
SETTINGS
• Clicking the extension icon opens a small panel for the current site: set or change its path, go there now, forget it. • A full settings page lists every remembered site, with your usual path suggested by default on new sites (for example /secure-admin/). • Rules sync with your Firefox account, just like bookmarks.
SITE ACCESS (Firefox-specific)
On first launch, a short assistant asks you to allow the extension on all your sites (needed to detect the double Shift anywhere) — you can grant this then, or later from the extension's popup. Until it's granted, double-tapping Shift stays inactive, and the popup shows a reminder in that case.
PRIVACY
No data ever leaves your browser. The extension only checks whether a WordPress login cookie exists, to know if you are already logged in; it never reads its value nor sends it anywhere. No account, no analytics, no server. The code is open: https://github.com/reuhno/2xshift-goto-secret-wp-admin
