Privacy Policy – 3nigm4 Mobil Chat

1. What this add-on does
   3nigm4 Mobil Chat is a Firefox extension (desktop and Android) for encrypted group chat. Encryption and decryption run only on your device.
2. What we do NOT collect
   • No user accounts
   • No tracking, ads, or analytics from the developer
   • No crash telemetry to the developer
   • Passwords are never uploaded
   • Plaintext messages are never sent to the developer
3. Chat relay (when you use chat)
   When you use chat, your browser connects to a WebSocket relay. The relay only receives:
   • encrypted message payloads (ciphertext)
   • display name (nickname)
   • room name
   • connection metadata needed to deliver messages

The relay does not receive plaintext. Room history is ephemeral and may be wiped when a room is empty. If you do not use chat, no connection to the relay is made.

1. Local storage
   Nickname and last room may be stored in the browser for convenience. You enter the password only in the chat UI.
2. Permissions
   • storage – local preferences (e.g. nick / room)
   • host access to the relay – only for chat WebSocket traffic
3. Sharing
   The developer does not sell or share your data for advertising. There is no developer cloud storing chat contents.
