Focus: Seamless background transitions and visual polish.
- Cross-Mode Background Transitions: Resolved a visual glitch where switching between solid palettes and image wallpapers caused a harsh black flash. The system previously faded both layers independently, causing mid-transition transparency. This was completely rewritten to use a cinematic ghost-overlay crossfade (for Palette → Wallpaper) and a snap-behind technique (for Wallpaper → Palette), matching the premium smoothness of same-mode transitions with zero black bleed-through.
