- 评分 1 / 5来自 FireFox User， 9 年前This add-on is rubbish, it doesn't block f**k all. If you want to use an adblocker that works stick with AdBlock Plus or Ublock Origin.
The way AdBlock for Firefox allows adverts to seep through it makes you wonder if the are working with certain advertisers to give them access, either way the are not being very transparent and if they have mentioned it, its been done so under the small print which is sneaky either way.开发者回应
发布于 9 年前Hi, and thanks for your feedback! We aren't working with advertisers to let ads sneak through AdBlock (or do anything else, for that matter). If you're seeing ads that don't go away after refreshing the page (necessary on some particularly stubborn sites), we'd be happy to look into why they're not being blocked for you. Just run our "Report an ad on this page" feature to start some basic troubleshooting. Thanks!

It even blocks pop-up ads from videos- before i had to stch off completely adblock plus on a site, because it got detected and forbidden and bla-bla-bla. Long story short: this adblocker is not dettected by the website, so i keep it on and it does it's job. PERFECT. LOL(lots of love in this case <3 )

- 评分 2 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 13367921， 9 年前It works on several sites (I've been using it for many days) and it's great that I can block specific parts of pages without having to use another add-on (such as "Element hiding helper"). But, for some reason, even though I'm subscribed to several lists it doesn't block a SINGLE THING on http://brittanica.com/ (This is probably true for other sites as well.)
Even if I create special rules to block the ads, I re-load the page once or twice and new ads are displayed.
This is very annoying, this not "non-instrusive" advertising (and I have that setting unchecked, by the way) we're talking about ads with moving images and lots of blinking non-sense, right next to the article.
Adblock Plus allowed me to use the Encyclopedia Britannica site without any disturbances.开发者回应
发布于 9 年前Hi lionlionlionlion, thanks for your feedback! On Brittanica.com, I'm seeing a couple of small ads on some pages intermittently. Reloading the page once or twice hides the ads properly for me.
If you're seeing something different, particularly ads with moving or blinking images or ads that don't go away after a refresh, would you mind using our "Report an ad on this page" feature? It will run through some quick troubleshooting that will help us find out what's happening. Thanks!
