Aquila VPN Extension is provided by Tachyon Networks Limited. This policy explains how the browser extension processes information when you sign in, select a proxy server, and route browser traffic through Aquila VPN.
## Information processed
The extension may process:
- Your account email address and authenticated session information to sign you in and obtain short-lived proxy credentials.
- Your selected server, connection state, bypass-list settings, WebRTC leak-protection preference, language, and appearance settings. These settings are stored locally in the browser.
- Limited operational data needed to operate the service, such as proxy authentication events, aggregate traffic usage, server availability, latency measurements, error diagnostics, and fraud-prevention or security signals.
- Browser traffic metadata and traffic required to establish and operate the user-selected proxy connection, including destination hostnames or IP addresses. This information is transmitted to the selected Aquila proxy server solely to provide the proxy service.
## What we do not do
Aquila VPN does not sell personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We are designed not to log or monitor website content, DNS query content, or traffic payloads in a way intended to reconstruct your browsing activity. We do not intentionally maintain persistent browsing-history logs from proxy traffic.
## How information is used
We use this information only to:
- authenticate your account and provide proxy access;
- configure the browser proxy selected by you;
- maintain service security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors;
- measure aggregate usage and service performance;
- provide account, subscription, and support services.
## Third parties and retention
Payment information is handled by payment providers such as Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, the Apple App Store, or Google Play, as applicable. We do not receive or store full payment-card or wallet credentials.
We retain account, security, billing, support, and operational information only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and protect our systems.
## Your choices
You can disconnect the proxy at any time, change servers, manage bypass settings, and disable optional WebRTC leak protection. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information as permitted by applicable law.
