A better way to browse Second Life Marketplace.

bettermp is a free browser extension that adds infinite scrolling, larger
image previews, body filters and dark mode to Second Life Marketplace. It
uses the account you are signed in with. Search and checkout still run on
the marketplace.

Search results

• Results keep loading as you scroll, instead of stopping at 96 a page.
• Back returns you to the same results and scroll position.
• Hover over a listing to see larger images, its full name and description.
• Cards show the rating and number of reviews.
• Featured items get their own section, with your filters applied.
• Optionally merge a product's colours and packs into one card, with the
price range and a demo badge.

Filters

• Show only items for your body (Maitreya, Legacy, Reborn, Kupra, Belleza,
Slink and more), or only items that name no body.
• Limit results from each store to 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10.
• Block a store, or hide listings whose titles contain words you choose.
• Save a search with its filters and run it again from the sidebar.
• The marketplace's own filters: category, price, maturity, permissions,
land impact and every sort order.

Listing pages

• Permissions, tags, cart, demo and gift at the top, and the store's related
items below.
• Reviews with the average and a star breakdown.
• The box contents, with the permissions on each item.
• Links to the product's other colours, packs and demo.
• A Metadata tab with the oldest and newest screenshot dates, the version
and the keywords.
• Purchase date and order link on items you own.

Your lists

• Wishlist and favourites in a grid with body and block filters and hover
previews.
• A link to view and share your wishlist.
• Favourite stores with their newest items and prices.
• Received gifts with date, sender and message, redelivery and review
links, and search by item, store or sender.

Cart

• Thumbnails, quantity and gift message editing, and Undo.

Other

• Light and dark mode. Checkout pages get a matching dark theme.
• The toolbar icon turns bettermp off and on.
• Every page links to the original marketplace page.

Privacy

bettermp has no analytics. Your settings, saved searches and blocklists stay
in your browser. bettermp talks to marketplace.secondlife.com to load pages
and to add to cart, edit the cart, update your wishlist and favourites, and
redeliver gifts when you ask. The optional store reviews (non-public feature) also contact
