This works great! Only Spotify ad blocker that worked for me.

Although it doesn't block out the ad completely, it cuts it to 3-5 seconds of elevator filler music instead of like more than 1 minute of ads. After a while, you barely notice the filler music at all.

there's a lot of people here complaining about the filler music being too loud, but I think the developer fixed the issue because it's a normal volume now

It would be nice if the name were different tho, since it's not the real Blockify and it might be misleading.

this would be a GREAT extension if it wasnt for the fact that it blasts some dookie booty music everytime you get an ad and even though its for a split second its still loud and annoying and i'd rather just hear the ad then have to hear this terrible 3 seconds of mumbo jumbo that the creator of this extension added.

Edit: I’ve been using this extension for a few months now, but recently I’ve noticed an issue where the ad music continues playing even after the ad has finished. The music keeps playing over my regular playlist, creating an overlap between the two audio sources.

Even after completely closing the app, the ad music continues to play in the background. I don’t have any tabs open, so I’m not sure where the audio is coming from. The only ways I’ve found to stop it are restarting my computer or waiting around five minutes for it to eventually stop on its own. The "music being loud" is still an issue as well.

Works, but is very loud. I have to lower the volume every time I get an ad, this is quite annoying. Would be cool if we could control the volume and the music that plays over the ad. This would make this 5 stars.

worked for me flawlessly, it seems to be more that it takes a few seconds to skip the ads completely so during those few seconds it plays music, it doesnt just replace the whole ad, prob just me tho

It is a great ad-on, as i wont get flagged by spotify. The ability to customize the filler music would be nice, and as such, i wont give a 5 stars unless we can customize it.

Ads got increasingly more annoying while I was trying to study, so i decided to try this ad blocker out. 10/10. It does exactly what it says, blocking ads and playing filler music instead.
